Information about Visa Application

At the Consular Section

ATTENTION:
Until the end of November, visa applications will be received from Tuesday to Friday, from 10am to 12pm


Remarks:

1) All visa applications will be processed within a period of 30 working days.

2) Any information concerning the visa application will be given upon Consular Section protocol number (format: C000XXXX or G0000XXX or T0000XXX).

First entry requirement

You must enter Brazil within 90 days from the date your visa was issued; otherwise that visa will no longer be valid.

International Vaccination Certificate

A Certificate of vaccination against polio is required for children between ages of three months and six years. If the child cannot be inoculated, a notarized letter from the child's physician will be required.

Yellow fever vaccinations are required for travelers who visited one of these countries before entering Brazil: Angola, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equator, French Guiana, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Peru, Sierra Leone, Sudan and Venezuela.

Yellow fever vaccination is recommended if applicant intends to visit one of the following regions in Brazil: Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Federal District, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima, Tocantins.
